Letchworth State Park in Western New York has been frequently called the “Grand Canyon of the East”. It’s a beautiful park complete with lovely hiking trails along the canyon rim of the Genesee River. The Upper , Middle and Lower falls are impressive , and the geology around the river and it’s sheer cliffs is amazing. The photos in this collection are from a one day hike along the Big Bend region below the Lower Falls and include:
- Large format high resolution panoramas of the Big Bend
- A number of small waterfalls along Wolf Creek
- Local wildlife including chipmunks and squirrels
- A few shots of rural decay captured along the road on the drive down
