I grew up on a barrier island, Okaloosa Island, in the Gulf of Mexico. It’s basically a sandbar with a maximum non-dune elevation of about 3 feet above mean high tide. My Mom still lives there, and it’s still beautiful. I was home visiting Mom in Jan 2020 and took a few photographs of:
- Sunsets over the Gulf of Mexico
- Wild Birds In Flight
- The Okaloosa Island Fishing Pier
