My family and I are beach people. I grew up on the Emerald Coast of Florida, which I would argue contains some of the most beautiful beaches in the continental US. I’ve taken my share of trips to beautiful beaches in the US, the Caribbean, Australia, New Zealand, Dubai, Japan, Hawaii, Guam, Okinawa, Vietnam , Thailand, and Mexico. We took a family vacation to Great Exuma in the Bahamas this year and I can honestly say that these were some of the most beautiful beaches I have ever visited. Windex-blue water and white sands with the general absence of crowds of any substance created some pretty surreal beach days. A common behavior that we all developed was frequently flipping our sunglasses up and down to check if it really was “THAT BLUE” (it was.)
The images below capture some of the highlights; photos include sunrises, sunsets, beach shots, sea turtles, iguanas, and myself catching some solo kiteboarding sessions. Photos were captured on Sony A7iii, Sony RX100vi and GoPro Hero4.
